Shop Home Delivery started with a question somebody asked in a shop queue: does this one deliver? It turned out to be surprisingly hard to answer, and harder still to find out what to do when the answer was no.

What we are not

We are not connected with Aldi, Lidl, or any other shop written about on this site. Nobody here works for them, nobody pays us to say anything, and no shop has approved a word of it. Every brand name and every logo belongs to the company that owns it, and is used here only to say which shop a page is about.

Where the facts come from

Shop locations come from OpenStreetMap and the people who map it. Population figures come from the 2021 census for England and Wales, from National Records of Scotland, and from GeoNames and Wikidata. Photographs come from Geograph through Wikimedia Commons, and every one names the person who took it. Anything a shop has said publicly is quoted as the shop said it.

Getting it wrong

Shops move, open, close and change their minds. If something here is out of date, or was never right in the first place, please let us know. Corrections get made the same week.

Which shops we cover

Aldi and Lidl so far. Which shop comes next is decided almost entirely by what people ask for, so if yours is missing, say so.
