Boots delivery options

Yes, Boots delivers, next day at the soonest.

Next day is £5.95, and standard delivery is free over £25. Need it today, or from your own store? Someone local can collect it. Boots delivers, and for plenty of orders that is the answer. Here are its terms, as Boots publishes them, and the ways round the wait.

The three ways, side by side

1

Ask someone local

The one that starts at your own store. Someone nearby goes to your Boots with your list, finds what you asked for and drops it round. Write each item down with its brand and size, and a second choice in case it has sold out. A picture or the product name from the Boots website helps.

Taskerama says “Offers usually arrive within a few hours”. You say when you need it by, and you see the price before you agree to anything. Taskerama is a good place to find someone.

2

Delivery from Boots

Standard delivery is £3.95, or free when you spend £25; Boots says its aim is for standard orders to arrive within 5 days. Next day is £5.95 if you order by 10pm, seven days a week, usually between 8am and 9pm. A named weekday up to 14 days ahead is £5.75.

3

Click & Collect

Order online by 8pm and collect on the day you choose: £1.50, or free on online orders over £15, in the majority of Boots’s UK stores. The store keeps it for 7 days after that day.

Free to post and compare offers. Booking fee from £4.95 if you hire, shown first.

Which one should you pick?

Can it wait until tomorrow? Boots’s own next day delivery is the simple answer, at £5.95, or standard delivery if a few days is fine.

Need it sooner, or from your own store? Post a job for someone local. They go to the shop you name, so it is the stock on those shelves.

Passing the shop anyway? Click & Collect saves you hunting round the aisles, and it is free over £15.

Wondering about the apps? Boots’s own delivery is next day at the soonest. Its delivery page also lists Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats, and Boots UK says “On-demand delivery available from over 500 stores via Deliveroo, Uber Eats and JustEat” (Boots in numbers, read 18 October 2026). Boots has over 1,800 stores, so search for Boots in the app to see whether yours is one of them.

Sending someone for a Click & Collect order?

Boots says: “If you’d like a friend or relative to collect an order on your behalf, we suggest you contact the store where your order is being stored and let them know that someone will be collecting it for you. It’s also a good idea if that person brings along the order number and a form of photo ID.”

That advice is for a friend or relative. If you would rather someone local collected an order, ask the store first; or have them buy what you need off the shelf instead. Either way, keep the order number out of the job post itself.

Prescriptions and medicines?

These pages are about everyday shopping: toiletries, baby things, beauty. Prescriptions and pharmacy medicines are a matter for the pharmacy. Boots says: “If you use our Online Repeat Prescription Service you can still choose to collect from store or have it delivered to your home.” For anything else, speak to a Boots pharmacist.
