How to get Booths shopping delivered
Booths does not deliver a food shop, so here are the ways people get it home instead, starting with the one that comes to your door.
The three ways, in order
Ask someone local
This is the one that comes to your door. Someone nearby goes to your Booths with your list, finds what you asked for and drops it round. Write it as you would for yourself, with brands and sizes, and say what would do if something has run out.

Food to Order
Booths’ own online ordering is for food and drink you collect: party platters, joints, cakes and, in season, Christmas dinner. You choose a store, a date and a time slot. There is a £20 minimum order and a £20 non-refundable deposit, and the rest is paid at the till when the order is collected. Booths asks for the order reference or proof of identification.
Its pages do not say whether someone else may collect for you, so ask Booths before you send anyone. How to order.
What Booths sends
Booths says “We have a limited range of Booths brand products available for home delivery on Amazon Fresh.” It also delivers flowers nationwide and posts gifts. None of that is a shop from your store, but it is worth knowing for a present.
Which one should you pick?
Need the weekly shop? Ask someone local. It is the only one of the three that brings what is on the shelves.
Hosting something? Food to Order lets you order the food ahead and collect it on the day. If you cannot collect it yourself, check with Booths who may.
Sending a present? Booths delivers flowers and posts gifts, which is simpler than having someone take them round.
Missing a Booths favourite? A few Booths brand things are on Amazon Fresh, where Amazon Fresh delivers. For the rest, someone local can pick them up.
A few things worth knowing
If wine or beer is on the list, whoever goes may be asked for ID at the till.
Chilled and frozen things travel best in a cool bag, so ask for one, and for the shop to come straight round.
If you are arranging it for someone else, put their phone number on the job. It saves a lot of bother at the door.
