The Range delivery options

Yes, The Range delivers, though not the same day.

Express takes 2 to 4 working days, from £4.99, and big items take longer. Need something big today, or from your own store? Someone local can collect it. The Range delivers, and for plenty of orders that is the answer. Here are its terms, as The Range publishes them, and the ways round the wait.

The three ways, side by side

1

Ask someone local

The one that starts at your own store. Someone nearby goes to it, picks up what you have chosen and brings it in. Give the product name from The Range website, say how big and heavy it is, and agree how it will be paid for.

Taskerama says “Offers usually arrive within a few hours”. You say when you need it by, and you see the price before you agree to anything. Taskerama is a good place to find someone.

2

Delivery from The Range

Saver takes 3 to 5 working days and express or a nominated day 2 to 4, both from £4.99. Medium items take from 5 working days, from £9.95; large and XL items from 8 working days on saver, from £9.95, or 5 on express, from £24.99. Next day is £29.99 for eligible large items ordered by 4pm, Monday to Friday. Eligible orders over £59 go free.

3

Click & Collect

Free. The Range says: “We offer same-day collection for Click & Collect orders placed within your chosen store’s opening hours.” Early orders may not be ready until about 11am. You need the order confirmation email and ID such as a driving licence or passport, and the store holds it for up to 7 days.

Free to post and compare offers. Booking fee from £4.95 if you hire, shown first.

Which one should you pick?

Can it wait a few days? The Range’s own delivery is the simple answer, and free on eligible orders over £59.

Something big, from your own store, without the wait? Post a job for someone local with a car or van. They go to the store you name, so it is the stock on those shelves.

Got a car and a free hour? Click & Collect is free, and can be ready the same day.

Ordering several things? The Range says: “You’ll only pay a single delivery cost for items from The Range, priced to match the largest or heaviest item.”

Sending someone for a Click & Collect order?

The Range asks for the order confirmation email and ID “to confirm your identity” when an order is collected. Its page does not say anyone else can collect, so ask the store before you send someone. Or have them buy it in the store for you instead.
