How to get Poundstretcher shopping delivered
Poundstretcher takes no online orders and does not deliver, so here is how people get it home instead, starting with the way that works at any address.
The three ways, in order
Ask someone local
This one works everywhere. Someone nearby takes your list to your Poundstretcher, picks out what you asked for and brings it to your door when it suits you. For garden things, storage or a stack of cleaning supplies, someone with a car is best.
You see the price before you agree to anything. You can post the job on Taskerama.
Browse first, then list
Poundstretcher says “our website is for browsing only”, so use it as a catalogue: pick things out there, then write an exact list with a second choice by anything that might be gone.
The store finder has each store’s opening hours.
Keep the receipt
Things go back to a store within 28 days with proof of purchase. Food and drink, toiletries and bedding are only taken back if faulty, so name those exactly.
Paying for it
Whoever goes pays at the till. Poundstretcher takes cash, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay, but not American Express or cheques. Reusable bags are 15p, or 20p in Northern Ireland, so it is worth your helper bringing their own.
We have not been able to confirm that any delivery app carries Poundstretcher, and its own site names none, so plan on a person rather than an app.
Which one suits you?
Something big? Someone local with a car, and say how big.
A few bits? Still worth posting; a high-street store is an easy stop for someone passing.
Every week or two? Find one person and keep them. They soon learn what you buy.
For someone else? Put their phone number on the job, so the person shopping can check with them.
Not sure which store is yours? Find it here, with the neighbourhoods around it.
