Getting the best of it
Put everything in one trip. A helper with a car can bring a full shop and a few bulky things together, rather than in two trips.
Say what you are after when you post: the shop, the items, and anything big or heavy. Clear details get clearer prices.
If you need B&M often, find one person you get on with and stick with them. They will get to know the store and what you like.
For large furniture or a bulky garden item, the store sets the price of delivering it, so ask before you pay.
It is free to post a job on Taskerama and to compare offers. If you hire someone, a booking fee is added to the price you agree: £4.95 on a price under £30, £9.95 from £30 to £59.99 and £14.95 from £60 to £89.99, shown on every offer before you accept.
