Airtasker and TaskRabbit
Two other sites where you can hire someone for an errand. Each sets its own fees, so check them on its own site before you book.
Aldi delivery in the West Midlands
120 Aldi shops across 77 towns. None of them deliver, so here is where to find someone who will fetch your shopping instead.
Shops are packed fairly close together around Birmingham and the Black Country, with a lot of people living near each one.

Who can help
Taskerama
A UK job site where you post the shop you want doing and people nearby can offer to do it. Every fee is shown before you agree to anything.
- Free to post, and free to compare offers.
- Your payment is held until you confirm the job is done.
- Any refund goes back to your card, not as credit.
- Cancel before the job starts and you are refunded in full.
- You can message anyone who offers before you pick.
Other ways
Ask a neighbour properly
It need cost nothing, and someone nearby may be glad to be asked. A local Facebook or Nextdoor group is another place to ask.
Royal Voluntary Service or Age UK
Help with shopping for older people in some areas. Ask early what runs near you, and whether there is a charge.
A supermarket that does deliver
For a big weekly shop, Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Iceland all deliver. You pay their prices, not Aldi's, but the van comes to you.
